7 DAYS IN ENTEBBE – Actress Rosamund Pike plays one of the German terrorists that embarks on a dangerous journey to hijack an Air France flight from Athens, Greece to Entebbe, Uganda, with her Palestinian counterparts.

“7 DAYS IN ENTEBBE”, is based on true accounts in 1976 when 240 passengers were held as hostages as a bargaining chip for Israeli’s to free 52 Palestinian terrorists from their prisons.

The film shows the no negotiation policy by Israel as a failing proposition, but in order to stand by their policies, they had secretly planned an undercover military operation called “Thunderbolt’ that rescued their citizen’s from despair at a time when Amin was the ruler in Uganda at that time.

The film shows the period and setting accurately well, yet it is the last 10 minutes that keep you on the edge for this hijack film. The film gets a 2 and a half star recommendation. Courtesy Awesome TV & BEING FILMY.
