Exploring this interesting and intriguing theme, the director of the film, Ankit Hans had made a very interesting film titled ‘Auhaam’ which is a compelling and a engrossing watch. One of the most amazing films in recent times ‘Auhaam’ is currently playing in theatres across the country.
If you want to know what could be the reason of Riya’s sudden vanishing act, which leaves her husband and the police force perplexed; do watch ‘Auhaam’ which is a heart touching drama and it is quite hard hitting too. It is such a poignant film that while watching the film, it is difficult to take off your eyes from the big screen. It is edge of the seat thriller which audiences seldom get to watch these days.
Director Ankit Hans has handled the suspense-thriller film very efficiently and effectively. The film has been written and directed in such a pacing way that there is not a single dull moment throughout the film. At a time when the attention span of today’s audeinces is getting shorter day by day, you don’t feel bored at any point of time which in itself is a remarkable achievement. Every twist and turn in the film is worth waiting and worth watching and keeps the audiences glued to the screen.
As a married and later situationally separated couple Hriday Singh (Shiva) and Divya Malik (Riya) had done a fabulous job. Playing the role of the cop who is desperate to know the whereabouts of Riya, Varun Suri (Yashwant) had given an exemplary performance. As a child artist Janesha Suri, Pushpinder Singh, Ram Narayan Chawla and Amit Balaji had also done justice to their well defined character roles.
Apart from impressing with his acting chops, Varun Suri also makes an impact as a screenplay, dialogue and lyrics writer of the film. The multi-talented Varun Suri’s contribution towards the film is immense which helps the film to make it into a hard-hitting one. Writer Mahesh Kumar and Hriday Singh make sure that the suspense and mystery angle of the film keep the audiences second guessing throughout the film. From eye-popping cinematography to crisp editing, rich production value, the film excels in every department making it a must watch movie.
It is interesting to note that unlike other Bollywood films, ‘Auhaam’ portrays UP police in a very humane manner and shows their positive side which leaves no stone turned to crack the mysterious disappearance of Riya.
It is needless to say that ‘Auhaam’ is an outstanding film which will give you goosebumps while watching it and make you think hard about the movie. It is not one of those films which you can easily forget. It will linger on your mind long after you leave the cinema hall.
