Naurah USA is an Indo – Western Ready to Wear and Custom Couture Custom Fashion Line.It was launched in NYC in 2017 by Ayesha Khanna, who is a well established choreographer and Director of Bollywood Funk NYC Dance School. Inspired by her rich Indian heritage and the vibrant fashion scene of NYC, Ayesha wished to create unique wearable designs that brings the best of her two worlds together. The line is both inspired by and dedicated to the bold and beautiful women who are hustlers by day but fashionaistas at night. Naurah designs are known for their rich hand embroideries, unique color combinations and effortless style. Naurah USA is extremely proud to share its inspiration, the rich Indian Heritage and the exclusion handwoven techniques by Indian artisans and showcase them on a global platform. Each and every Naurah Design, from Ready to Wear to Couture is designed in NYC and brought to life by the talented team of Master tailors and Karigars at Naurah Design House, New Delhi.
In a few short years, Naurah has gained a lot of recognition around the globe. Naurah launched in Milan in 2018 with a vision to appeal to and dress women from all walks of life. Naurah USA designs have been featured on British Vogue, Marie Claire Magazine ( Italy) , National Film Awards UK, NYFW/ Walk Fashion Show hosted by Claire Sulmers , CEO of Fashion Bomb Daily, Milan Fashion Week, Spy News Magazine, Labotanica Magazine. Emerging Talents Milan shows, FYID / Dapper Dan Harlem Fashion Presentation. Ayesha was also invited to create a custom dress for acclaimed singer Alyssa Raghu (American Idol Top 8 ) for the prestigious Howdy Mody event held in Houston, Texas in honor of Prime Minister Modi. The event was attended by over 50K people with President Donald Trump and other dignitaries.It was an honor to see Alyssa Raghu sing the national anthem dressed in an Indo western piece designed by Naurah.
Naurah USA recently participated in Paris Fashion Week to showcase its Fall/ Winter 2020 collection. The designs received rave reviews from an international audience of fashion bloggers, designers and fashion publicists. Naurah USA was featured in Fab UK Magazine and was also voted as one of top 39 designers spotted during Paris Fashion week by De mode Magazine. Naurah USA presented its SS21 collection “ IKAASHA “ Ek Naya Sawera at Thailand Fashion Week which garnered over 500k views on its digital platform Cosmos, the first and the largest online fashion platform in Asia.
