BLACK PANTHER – Again the theme revolves around – “The Man Who would Be King”….or rather who is deserving of the throne. This time Marvel Studios transforms this formula and engages the audience to Wakanda, Africa to set the premise of “BLACK PANTHER”.

Chadwick Boseman is perfect for the role of this superhero with an African-English accent to go along with it. The king has died, and now it is time for Prince T’Challa to take over the empire that has been so kept privately from the world’s evil eyes, for they posses a weapon called – “Veranium”. If it goes to the wrong hands, or in the black market for arms, than all war can break out.

As usual there are many adversaries that are against his kingdom. It is up to him as “Black Panther” to settle the score. The film is fun, and is reflective today towards our worldly politics, but I do not want analyze it that way. It’s another character that Marvel developed 52 years ago that finally gets his due on the big screen.

Strangely it reminds me of a Shakespearean style theme, and loosely even a Bollywood inspired concept like “Bahubali”, which was filled with twists and turns that leads to the theme of vendetta.

Its a fun film for all to enjoy, but could have been shorter in length. At the same time the visuals and art direction, which brings African culture and the future is amazing.. The film gets a 3 star recommendation. Courtesy Awesome TV & BEING FILMY.
