BOMBSHELL – Fox Network News in America is a channel that is altogether another universe where everything appears to be the truth, or through hearsay. It is a channel that has divided the Republicans from the Democrats, but what it does is divide the treatment of woman from the men there at the network.
From the makers of “The Big Short”, this new film called, “BOMBSHELL”, takes on the true story of how the man behind the creation of FOX NEWS – The CEO – Richard Ailes, who was taken down from his position, due to the alleged sexual harassment charges that were pointed at him for decades. An empire created by Rupert Murdoch and his family got tarnished a bit during the 2016 – Trump Elections. Lets face it they needed each other and still do to go against the “Fake News” out there in the world. But the film tells the story of 3 strong and bold ladies, played by Nicole Kidman, Charlize Theron, and Margot Robbie, stood up eventually against the mighty giant CEO, for his manipulations, sexual advances, and chauvinistic behavior.
These 3 News Anchors had an uphill battle, and had to deal with this major uncomfortable situations. Charlize Theron as Megyn Kelly was spot on. She does an amazing interpretation of the TV Host celebrity. Even Sandy Mckinion in a small role plays an employee staff, that is a lesbian, but has to hide her individuality, because of her work environment, has also given an natural performance, This film has some great acting that deserves a watch at the theaters.
