CAPTAIN MARVEL – This time Marvel brings a chick flick affair to bring in a more younger crowd to the world of superhero appreciation…and I mean that with positive sincerity.
Actress Bri Larson is the perfect role model, and suits the character of “CAPTAIN MARVEL”. The film has its share of aliens, and outerspace effects. But its the way the films subject has been handled that once again engages the audience of all ages. Bri Larson, plays pilot who has been missing from an undisclosed mission, led by scientist – Dr. Lawson, played by Annette Bening. Her memory has been erased. She wants to know who she was, and why is her memory fragmented. She also wants to know where her special strengths have come from? She goes back to earth to on a mission, until she finds out there is more to it then it appears.
Samuel Jackson takes the role once again as the “S.H.I.E.L.D’ head – Nick Fury, and assist her. This is a good Pre-Cursor needed film to help us unlock the clues and make us anticipate “The Avengers – Endgame”, that releases end of April/May 2019.
The film is fun, but has that 90’s feel, since the setting takes place during that time. The film gets a 3 star recommendation. Courtesy Awesome TV & BEING FILMY.
