Navratri, the festive season, is raging as celebrations are illuminating houses and communities throughout the nation. Playing Aditya in Sun Neo’s popular serial Ishq Jabariya, Lakshay Khurana recently shared his relationship with the holiday and how it brightens his life.
Regarding Navratri, Lakshay remarked, “This is a season of celebration, optimism, and happiness. It is about connecting with people and radiating positive energy. Although I don’t take part in Garbo or Dandiya actively, I do appreciate seeing others savour the celebrations. The energetic music, the bright clothes, and the general vibe remind me of the joy and drama we produce on Ishq Jabariya.”
Regarding his preparations for the Navratri this year, Lakshay said, “I haven’t observed any fasting or specific rituals, but I’ve made time to enjoy the festive spirit. I’m juggling my Ishq Jabariya filming schedule this year while hanging out with pals at nearby Garbo celebrations in the evenings.
With a cherished memory of his Navratri celebration in Gujarat, Lakshay said, “I once visited Gujarat for Navratri and had an amazing time! Thousands of people danced in time, vivid colours all around, and the music—it was magical—the spirit at the Garbo evenings was explosive. It seemed as though one large family gathering to rejoice.
Regarding his symbolic relationship with Goddess Lakshmi, Lakshay said, “Goddess Lakshmi reflects prosperity, achievement, and positivity—qualities I try for in my life. Her blessings motivate me to balance my job and personal development. I strive to bring the same optimism and commitment to every scene, even on the Ishq Jabariya set.
