EQUALIZER 2

EQUALIZER 2 – Sequels these days is like fast food for the audience. They want something similar and quick, and this second installment from Antoine Fuqua delivers actor Denzel Washington in that package.

   Yes he has the swagger, and the action intact, but this time he is retired and driving an “UBER” for a living. In his free time in Boston, he also helps the elderly, cleans neighborhood vandalism, and brings justice upon women that get raped, brings an abducted child back safely to her mother and so forth.

   Basically he is a good Samaritan, who was an Ex-Marine, and an – Ex Navy seal who conquers all that is evil in our society. But this time the film gets preachy, and shows his colleagues going rogue and doing the wrong things that he is so against his ideologies.

   I felt “Equalizer 2” – was one big long sermon on the theme of do the right thing, and never go on the wrong path of life. The film gets a 2 and a half stars recommendation. Courtesy Awesome TV & BEING FILMY.
