TREVEALED: We bet you did not know about THIS talent of Salman Khan!
It all started off in the year 1988 when a young man wanted to be an actor! His debut film was Biwi Ho To Aisi, in which he played a supporting role. Not just that, even his voice was reportedly dubbed by someone else! Ladies and gentlemen, we are indeed talking about the one and only Salman Khan, who went onto become the heart throb of the universe with his smash hit film Maine Pyar Kiya, the very film which holds many unique distinctions. To start with, besides getting its makers and stars awards galore, the film was dubbed in English with the title When Love Calls, which went onto become one of the biggest hits in the Caribbean market at Guyana. If that wasn’t enough, the film also dominated big time the box office collections in the areas of Trinidad and Tobago. History repeated itself even in India when the film got dubbed in many regional languages and each language proving to be a proverbial hit. Thus was born ‘Salman Khan- The Super Power-Full Brand’.
Well, what happened after that was the Khan-man’s tryst with the silver screen, in which he started churning hits, super hits and smash hits (his handful of average films notwithstanding). After having ‘been there, done that’, Salman Khan is now all set to ‘race’ into the hearts of all the fans with his most awaited film of the decade Race 3. Even though the mere name of Salman Khan being the star of the film was enough for its makers to be sitting on a goldmine with this film. This time round, besides acting, Salman Khan showed the world that he is a ‘superstar’ in the ‘write’ sense of the word.
Salman Khan has now penned the lyrics of the song ‘Selfish’, which features in the film. The said song, which is being hailed as the season’s most soulful romantic track, will feature the superstar in it. The origination of the song is quite unique in itself. It’s being said that, while the team was discussing the creative for the song, Salman Khan had written a few random thoughts on paper, which was playing on his mind. The said thoughts were about the kind of selfishness which prevails within the family. And, no sooner did the song’s music director Vishal Mishra heard the thoughts, he got very kicked up about the same and he said that he would return back with a tune for the song.
Besides Salman Khan, the romantic song ‘Selfish’ also features the film’s other stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol and Daisy Shah. While the male voice of the track has been sung by the well known singer Atif Aslam, what’s unique about the track is its female voice, which is NONE other than Salman Khan’s rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur.
Bobby Deol recently took to the social media and announced about the song stating that, “#Selfish in Love and excited at Heart!! My song from #Race3 with @BeingSalmanKhan and @Asli_Jacqueline releases Tomorrow! Besides the aforementioned names, the film also stars the ageless wonder Anil Kapoor. While Race 3 is being produced by Salman Khan Films and Ramesh Taurani under the banner of Tips Films, the film is directed by Remo D’souza. The film is slated to release as a Eid bonanza in 2018.
