The series is set in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, a place known for its deep-rooted black magic history. Shaan shares, “Jagdalpur is the most ancient black magic site in India, and I was fascinated by its rich culture and stories.”

Shaan believes the show’s supernatural thrills will resonate with OTT audiences. “Thrillers are huge on streaming platforms. People love watching them at night, and Jagdalpur fits perfectly into this trend,” he says.

Shaan expresses his gratitude to Harman Baweja for casting him. “It was a last-minute call, and I was honored to be selected after my audition,” he shares. Despite meeting Harman only twice, Shaan was impressed by his humility. “He made me feel comfortable, and I told him how much I admired his work in films like Love Story 2050.”
