Anud on Playing ‘Chatty’: “I Had Lived Those Friendships”

Anud Singh, portraying Chaitanya aka Chatty, revealed how personal experiences influenced his work. His portrayal is deeply rooted in genuine connections reminiscent of the Lafangey ethos.

“I grew up in Bhopal. We spent evenings playing in streets and parks. That built real, lasting friendships. I didn’t have to imagine Chatty’s bond — I’ve lived it.”

Speaking of the trio’s chemistry, Anud said:

“That ‘Bhai ne bola hai, toh karna hi hai’ feeling — that’s me in real life too. You just show up for your people without thinking.”

He revealed that instincts guided him to play Chatty naturally, without overacting or overthinking. Anud Singh Dhaka finds authenticity in his role through introspection, akin to the sentiments in Lafangey.
