TV stars Puja Sharma and Ashish Dixit share their emotional Father’s Day memories.
With Father’s Day around the corner, TV celebrities are looking back at their emotional bonds with their dads. For actors such as Puja Sharma (Jhanak) and Ashish Dixit (Pati Brahmachari), this day serves as a strong reminder of love, legacy, and inspiration.
Puja Sharma: “I Never Knew Him, Yet I Feel Him Every Day”
TV actor Puja Sharma, who returned to the small screen recently playing Kanak in Jhanak, posted a touching eulogy for her deceased father.
“He died when I was two, but his presence has never deserted me,” she says.
Her dad was an esteemed businessman and civil contractor working with CCL. He was a generous person who built schools and improved communities in Bihar and Jharkhand.
“Even today, people come up to me with stories of his kindness. That means everything.”
Puja continues, “People say I’m just like him — and that’s the biggest compliment. I try to live with the same values and simplicity he was known for.”
Ashish Dixit: “He Was My Strength When the Path Was Uncertain”
Ashish Dixit, who is currently a part of Dangal TV’s Pati Brahmachari, gives the credit for being his emotional support to his father.
“My dad didn’t need to say much. His actions always used to give me strength,” he says.
Since the day Ashish ventured into acting, his father was with him.
“I’ll never forget how his eyes lit up when he saw me on screen for the first time. That joy was ours to share.”
Ashish believes every role he takes is made possible by his father’s quiet confidence in him.
“When he says he’s proud of me, it feels like I’ve come full circle.”
A Day of Reflection and Gratitude
For both of them, Father’s Day is not just an observance. It’s a time to honor the men who influenced them — with love, guidance, and eternal wisdom.
Their tales inspire us to know that a father’s legacy transcends words — lasting through values, memories, and each genuine achievement.
