Mihir Ahuja on Lunch at SRK’s Mannat and Friendships from Pyaar Paisa Profit.

The young actor Mihir Ahuja terms it a dream fulfilled as he reminisces about surreal milestones and abiding bonds forged on location.

From College Dreams to Mannat Lunches

Actor Mihir Ahuja is still pinching himself at where he has reached in his career.

“Back in 2017, my mom and I visited Mumbai for college admissions. We were standing outside Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalows just hoping to see them,” Mihir Ahuja recalls.

Years later, not only did Mihir Ahuja meet them — he had lunch at their homes.

“Lunch at Mannat was surreal,” he continues. “It’s breathtaking inside. Like a palace. Like a king resides there.”

Bringing Abhijeet to Life

Mihir plays Abhijeet in Pyaar Paisa Profit — a charming, slightly overconfident young man chasing dreams.

Streaming on Amazon MX Player, the show is based on Durjoy Datta’s novel Now That You’re Rich, Let’s Fall in Love and produced by Yash and Mamta Patnaik under Inspire Films.

“I’ve been on set previously, talking to myself to pretend until I get it. But with this show, I learned you need something else. Genuine emotion counts,” Mihir Ahuja reflected while portraying the role.

Making Real Friends on Set

The show didn’t only present Mihir with an excellent role — it presented him with life-long friends.

“Mahvash, Aashish, Shivangi — we continue to hang out every week. We’ve got a WhatsApp group. We meet at the same café even now.”
In a profession notorious for temporary connections, Mihir Ahuja cherishes this precious connection.

“Not every project allows you genuine friendships. This one did, and I’ll always be grateful for that.”

Living the Dream, One Moment at a Time

Mihir Ahuja’s journey, from fanboying outside Mannat to having lunch within, seems to be like a movie itself.
