Kolkata, 27 June 2025: Cricket legend Sourav Ganguly wished luck to Metro… In Dino when Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan came to Kolkata. The actors are on a promotional trip before the release of the film. Ganguly, fondly known as Dada, played a significant role in promoting the film.
A Warm Evening at Dada’s Home
Aditya and Sara spent an evening to remember at Sourav Ganguly’s house. The encounter was marked by open-hearted conversations, laughter, and a sense of respect. Ganguly screened the trailer of Metro… In Dino and appreciated its emotional content.
“I thank them for coming. I wish their film all the very best — it will do well!” said Sourav Ganguly, adding that he is eager to watch the film on its release.
Metro… In Dino has won over fans with its heartfelt music by Pritam and new combinations. The trailer and songs are receiving plenty of love, promising an emotional, heartwarming ride.

The movie features Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, and Saswata Chatterjee, all of whom were praised by Sourav Ganguly during their visit.
Directed by Anurag Basu, the movie is produced by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series with Anurag Basu Productions. Pritam has composed the music. Catch it on cinemas on 4th July 2025.
