MAAC Hosts Behind the Screens Webinar for 5000 Students on Gaming, Design & Storytelling.

Maya Academy of Advanced Creativity (MAAC), a powerhouse in 3D animation, VFX, and gaming education, organized a special webinar called Behind the Screens. The webcast attracted more than 5000 students from across 120 MAAC centres in India.

A Deep Dive into Game Design & Storytelling

The webinar provided students with useful experience in game design, virtual environments, and storytelling. Part of the MAAC Behind the Screens campaign, it looks to close the gap between school education and industry requirements at MAAC in Media & Entertainment.

Mayur Puri Shares Industry Expertise

The session was led by Mayur Puri — Bollywood filmmaker, screenwriter, lyricist, and actor. Renowned for India-localizing Hollywood blockbusters such as The Lion King, Avengers: Endgame, and Moana, Mayur spoke on filmmaking, scriptwriting, and localization, sharing insights that are in line with Maya Academy of Advanced Creativity’s goals.

“It was a pleasure to discuss future storytelling trends with students,” said Mayur. “Their imagination and energy give me high hopes for this industry’s future.”

MAAC’s Mission to Develop Future-Ready Talent

Sandip Weling, Aptech Limited’s CBO, pointed out the initiative’s value:

Behind the Screens provides students with actual world exposure. Mayur’s session instructed them on how to bridge creative vision with audience demand.”

The initiative helps MAAC achieve its vision of empowering students for a career in the rapidly growing Media & Entertainment industry, while achieving Viksit Bharat (self-reliant India). Maya Academy of Advanced Creativity continues its mission to develop future-ready talent.
