Mitti traces the life of Raghav, a fine ad man, who goes back to his village Dol Chappra upon his grandfather’s passing away. What starts as a trip for last rites becomes one of mourning, remorse, and rediscovery.

Singh shares that Raghav’s relationship with his grandfather was reminiscent of his own with his father.
“My dad is an architect, and I did architecture too. He was expecting me to carry on his legacy. I attempted to, but acting was always my love,” he revealed.
There’s a scene in the series where Raghav’s grandfather wonders if perhaps things could have been different if Raghav had remained. “That actually resonated with me,” Singh continued. “I’ve felt that—like perhaps I let my dad down by not taking his path.”
