Vivaan Arora, the actor, discusses his passion for thrillers, break time, and upcoming projects.
Thrillers Bring Out the Best in Me
Actor Vivaan Arora, who has acted in Dramebaaz Kalakaar, Haq: The Right, and television series such as Aahat, claims he has always had a penchant for thrillers and action.
“Action and thriller are my favorite genres,” he claims. “There is an adrenaline rush in the pacey story, drama, and twists. As an actor, you are always on your toes. You have to balance intensity and understated emotions.”
Action Roles Challenge My Limits
Vivaan equally enjoys action roles.
It’s the adrenaline — the physical challenge, the energy, and the transformation,” he describes. “Stunts and face-offs push you. They push you outside your comfort level. That’s what makes them so thrilling — for the actor and the viewer.” ### Still Waiting for That Defining Role
Even after all these years in the industry, Vivaan says his most rewarding role is yet to come.
“I haven’t found that ‘one’ project yet,” he admits. “Every role has helped me grow. But I’m still looking for a story that really hits home — something unforgettable, both emotionally and creatively.”
Music Videos Are a Unique Experience
Vivaan recently starred in a music video with singer Tochi Raina.
“It was a lovely experience,” he says. “Music videos are all about emotion. You don’t work off dialogues. You sense the feeling through movement and rhythm.”
He further adds, “You don’t have many retakes. You have to connect with the feeling quick. It taught me the power of slight expression.”
Why He Took a Break from Acting
Vivaan took a break from acting for a while to attend to personal and business issues.
“There were family obligations and things that required my time,” he says. “It wasn’t simple to take a break, but it was unavoidable.”
Back with Fresh Energy and Intensity
Not even the break kept acting out of his thoughts.
“There was always this voice in my head. It continued to tell me — your place is in front of the camera,” he says. “Now that I’m back, I feel more focused and enthusiastic than ever.”
What’s Next?
Vivaan is now prepared for projects that challenge and motivate him. Whether it is an engrossing thriller, a moving drama, or a music video, he’s ready to plunge in — with heart and soul.
