Remember Akash Jagga? He’s back on our screens as Kundan in Sun Neo’s Prathaon Ki Odhe Chunri: Beendani. But did you know he took a whole year off from TV before this?
He recently shared why: “I was stuck in a rut, constantly being offered the same old negative characters. I just didn’t want to repeat myself, you know? So, I decided to take a break and wait for something that truly sparked my interest.”
The Perfect Role Found Him
Funny enough, the perfect opportunity came along when he least expected it. “I stopped stressing about it, and then I got a call about Kundan,” Akash explained. “The script felt so new and had so many layers. It was exactly the kind of role I was looking for!”
A Little Piece of Home
For Akash, this show has an extra special connection. “It’s set in Rajasthan, which is my hometown! I’ve never actually worked on a show based there before, so that made it even more appealing.”
