Packers Snap 55-Year Steelers Road Losing Streak with Jordan Love’s 360-Yard, 3-TD Masterclass

The Green Bay Packers finally ended a 55-year losing streak on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a 35-25 win at Acrisure Stadium on Sunday night. They won in Pittsburgh for the first time since 1970, thanks to a strong second half led by quarterback Jordan Love. Love outplayed his old coach Aaron Rodgers by throwing for 360 yards and three touchdowns. Additionally, he completed 29 of 37 passes with an amazing 134.2 passer rating.

During the game, Love tied a franchise record by completing 20 passes in a row. He connected with tight end Tucker Kraft twice, who had a career-high 143 receiving yards. Savion Williams, a rookie wide receiver, scored his first NFL touchdown. Christian Watson, who was coming back from an ACL injury, caught four passes for 85 yards. Emanuel Wilson, a running back, ran for 87 yards from scrimmage. Meanwhile, Josh Jacobs scored a big touchdown late in the game to give the Packers the lead for good.

The Green Bay defense was very important because they sacked Aaron Rodgers three times, thanks to big plays from Rashan Gary and Micah Parsons. The defense also made key turnovers. They recovered a fumble and broke up a two-point conversion attempt that sealed the win.

The Steelers got off to a good start and were ahead 16-7 at halftime. But in the second half, they only scored three points while giving up 28. Rodgers threw for 219 yards and two touchdowns, but he couldn’t make a comeback.

The Packers are now 5-1-1 and still in first place in the NFC North. The Steelers are now 4-3. The Green Bay Packers are getting ready to play the Carolina Panthers at Lambeau Field in Week 9. They want to keep their winning streak going. This historic win shows how the Packers are coming back and how Jordan Love is becoming a star in the NFL.
