Colin Farrell & Russo Brothers Unite for “Ordained” – The Ultimate Action-Thriller Comic Book Adaptation

The Russo Brothers’ AGBO banner is making the action thriller “Ordained,” which will star Colin Farrell. This movie is based on a comic book series from Bad Idea that people have been looking forward to for a long time. Robert Venditti wrote it and Trevor Hairsine drew it. Father Roy Craig, a priest played by Farrell, gives last rites to a mob boss who has a near-death experience, but the confession he hears turns into a deadly secret.

Corrupt cops, gangsters, and hitmen are soon after Father Roy to kill him. But his pursuers don’t know that Father Roy used to be a Navy SEAL, which makes him a tough opponent even though he follows the commandment not to kill. Derek Kolstad, who is known for his work on the “John Wick” series, wrote the script.

“Ordained” promises to combine exciting action scenes with a gripping story about faith, redemption, and survival in a world full of crime. Many studios and streaming services want to show this exciting new movie, which is another chapter in the collaboration between Farrell and the Russo Brothers, who are both very connected to the Marvel and DC universes.

Colin Farrell, who just got an Emmy nomination for his role as The Penguin in HBO’s “The Batman” series, will also make the movie with his sister Claudine Farrell. The Russo Brothers are still on a roll with “Avengers: Doomsday,” which is in post-production and set to come out in December 2026. Fans are excited to hear more about “Ordained,” which is expected to be a big hit in the comic book movie genre outside of Marvel and DC.
