Starring local comedic talents Zack Mast and Stephen Winchell, the performance replayed the dynamic duo’s early televised debates to crowds of film enthusiasts in honor of the impact Siskel & Ebert had on America’s movie culture.

The show portrayed the evolution of Siskel and Ebert from stuffy television personalities to film review icons with clips from their early work, aided by the involvement of producer Thea Flaum. These reenactments showed a remarkable development in the state of film reviewing and the two’s contribution toward establishing Chicago as a center of cinematic discussion.[1]
