The Plot Begins with a Chilling Confession
Mumbai, November 26, 2025: Netflix has unveiled the trailer for its upcoming Tamil psychological thriller Stephen. The story opens with a man who calmly walks into a police station and confesses to murder. However, as the narrative unfolds, his confession triggers a chain of disturbing events, making it increasingly difficult to separate reality from illusion.
Moreover, with its eerie visuals and moody soundtrack, the trailer steadily builds suspense and promises a dark, gripping experience for viewers.
A Deep and Mysterious Debut Film
Directed by debutant Mithun Balaji and featuring Gomathi Shankar in his first lead role, Stephen explores guilt, memory, and morality through a layered, character-driven narrative. Additionally, the film strengthens Netflix’s growing slate of bold and diverse Indian stories across genres.
Gomathi Shankar’s First Lead Role
