Paramount+ Arsenal Partnership: Landmark Soccer Deal

Paramount+ today announced that it has become an Official Partner of Arsenal FC, in a landmark deal that sees the leading streamer become aligned with one of the most famous clubs in the English Premier League. The worldwide content and marketing partnership pits Arsenal players, its legends such as Thierry Henry, and fans together in promotions for Paramount+ franchises. This comes fresh on the heels of the streamer’s recent $1 billion-plus UK Champions League rights win.

Key Partnership Details

The deal kicks off with “For the Love of the Team,” a bespoke film narrated by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, to celebrate the brand synergy. Arsenal and Paramount+ will also introduce co-branded social media campaigns and in-stadium activations at Emirates Stadium for men’s and women’s matches, including big screens and matchday programs.

Featured Paramount+ originals include “Landman,” starring Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, and Sam Elliott, plus Guy Ritchie’s “MobLand” with Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren, and Pierce Brosnan, which will highlight teamwork themes that resonate with soccer passion. Additional series such as “Yellowstone,” “SpongeBob,” and “South Park” may join future activations.

Strategic Impact

Marco Nobili, Executive VP and International GM at Paramount+, welcomed a “union between two global iconic brands with supporters that live and breathe passion.” Arsenal’s Chief Commercial Officer Juliet Slot told of how the “expertise, creativity and investment from Paramount+” will help enhance fan experiences and trophy ambitions.

The move further expands Paramount+’s UK soccer push after outbidding TNT Sports for 2027-31 Champions League coverage excluding Amazon’s Tuesday picks. The deal will link football and entertainment for fans around the globe.
