Melania Trump Launches Muse Films Ahead of Amazon Documentary

First Lady Melania Trump is announcing her own film production company, Muse Films, in conjunction with the worldwide release of her Amazon MGM Studios documentary “Melania.” The former model and current First Lady made the announcement via her social media accounts, also posting a short teaser video that showed off the company’s stylized “M” logo and confirmed that the film would be released theatrically around the world on January 30, 2026.

The documentary “Melania,” reportedly from a $40 million licensing deal with Amazon MGM, guarantees unprecedented exposure to her life and the 20 days leading up to Donald Trump’s second presidential inauguration. Directed by Brett Ratner, the film will make its debut in theaters across the United States and select international markets before arriving on Prime Video, with Melania Trump also credited as an executive producer through Muse Films.

Muse Films takes its name from Melania Trump’s reported Secret Service code name “Muse” during Donald Trump’s first term, signaling a strategic move to take greater creative control over how her story is told on screen. Industry reports suggest that the launch of Muse Films and the scale of the Amazon MGM partnership position Melania not only as the subject of a major political documentary but also as an emerging power player in the global entertainment and streaming landscape.
