After a dazzling comeback, the Academy of Country Music Awards will return to Las Vegas in 2026, heading back to the MGM Grand Garden Arena for the 61st iteration of the show. The ceremony will happen on Sunday, May 17, 2026, welcoming the ACM back to its home after three years in Frisco, Texas.
ACM CEO Damon Whiteside said he was excited about its return, calling Las Vegas a place filled with history and special memories for the Academy. The 2026 show will stream live globally on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, continuing its legacy to be celebrated worldwide as an eminent country music event. The announcement follows the milestone 60th anniversary show that starred Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Lainey Wilson, and more, and reached all fans in over 240 countries.
ACM Awards Week will officially start in Las Vegas on Friday, May 15, with tickets for the main ceremony and respective events going on sale early in 2026. This return to Las Vegas also signals a new dawn for the awards; new nominees, hosts, and performers will be announced in the succeeding months.
