MUMBAI, December 10, 2025 — IMDb has released its Most Popular Indian Movies and Series of 2025, based on page views from over 250 million global visitors each month. These rankings highlight what audiences watched, searched, and celebrated the most throughout the year.

Yaminie Patodia, Head of IMDb India, said the lists reflect how Indian creators are pushing boundaries across genres. From romance and animation to satire and superhero epics, Indian stories are increasingly resonating with viewers worldwide.
‘Saiyaara’ Leads the Movie Chart
Yash Raj Films’ Saiyaara claimed the top spot as the Most Popular Indian Movie of 2025. YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani called the achievement a “moment of immense pride,” praising Mohit Suri’s direction and the impactful debut performances by Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda.
Aryan Khan’s Series Turns Into a Cultural Wave
Meanwhile, Aryan Khan’s The Ba*ds of Bollywood** topped the series list. He said the goal was to “shake the room and own the conversation,” and the show’s massive online buzz — from memes to debates — proves it became a true cultural phenomenon.
