Lili Reinhart Endometriosis Diagnosis After Surgery

Lili Reinhart, “Riverdale” star, shares her endometriosis diagnosis. Doctors confirmed it post-laparoscopic surgery for years of severe pelvic pain and bladder issues. The 29-year-old actress faced interstitial cystitis misdiagnosis despite hospital visits and specialist consultations.

Initial specialists dismissed endometriosis. She managed pain alone until two pelvic floor therapists suggested it and urged more tests.

Reinhart demanded an MRI. It revealed adenomyosis, where uterine-like tissue invades the uterine wall. An endometriosis expert recommended surgery despite another doctor’s birth control advice.

Surgery verified endometriosis—a painful chronic condition with uterine-like tissue growing outside the uterus, risking organs and fertility. She calls it an “extremely misunderstood disease” with years-long diagnostic delays.

Reinhart urges women to reject pain dismissal or gaslighting. She trusts her instincts and vows to advocate so others feel seen and demand care.
