Amazon MGM Studios begins filming Red, White & Royal Wedding, which is the follow-up to the popular 2023 romantic comedy Red, White & Royal Blue. Jamie Babbit, who directed But I’m a Cheerleader, is in charge of the movie. It tells the story of Prince Henry and Alex Claremont-Diaz’s romance. Fans are very excited about the new movie because the first one was a huge hit around the world.
Nicholas Galitzine plays Prince Henry again, and Taylor Zakhar Perez plays Alex Claremont-Diaz again. A video from the stars behind the scenes suggests that the story will focus on Bea’s wedding, which is a continuation of the first movie’s public relationship reveal. There is no official release date yet, but it is likely that it will come out on Prime Video in 2026.
The cast now includes Uma Thurman, Sarah Shahi, Clifton Collins Jr., Rachel Hilson, and Stephen Fry. The screenplay was written by Casey McQuiston, Gemma, and Matthew López, and the producers are Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter. These new characters will add new twists to the royal romance story.
