In the exclusive first-look images from Midi Z’s upcoming Asia-set crime thriller The Exiles, Sam Worthington and Taiwanese actress Ke-Xi Wu appear tense and deeply thoughtful. Midi Z directs his first English-language film. The cast stars Worthington alongside David Duchovny and Ke-Xi Wu in this currently filming production in Taipei, inspired by true events.
The Exiles tracks a desperate Westerner who pursues better opportunities in Asia, unleashing ambition, greed, rivalry, and pride that culminate in a shocking murder. A top-tier crew elevates production, featuring Oscar-nominated cinematographer Ed Lachman (Carol, The Virgin Suicides), editor Hank Corwin (The Big Short), and composer Lim Giong (The Assassin).
