The 39-year-old actor, who is famous for his roles in Transformers and Megalopolis, seemed to be following a low-key recovery plan in the midst of all the chaos.
LaBeouf was taken into custody early on February 17 for allegedly causing a disturbance at a Royal Street business. During a fight, he punched two men with closed fists. Video showed him on the ground without a shirt on while men held him down. Paramedics treated his injuries before he was taken to jail. He is being charged with a misdemeanor and will go to court on March 19.
LaBeouf went back to the Mardi Gras crowds a few hours after being released from jail. He bought a new shirt and sunglasses, drank beer, and took pictures with fans.
