Shia LaBeouf Shirtless Jog, Solo Dine Post-Arrest

Shia LaBeouf was seen jogging without a shirt on in a New Orleans park on February 18, 2026, just after getting out of jail for two counts of simple battery during Mardi Gras. The 39-year-old actor, who is famous for his roles in Transformers and Megalopolis, seemed to be following a low-key recovery plan in the midst of all the chaos.

LaBeouf was taken into custody early on February 17 for allegedly causing a disturbance at a Royal Street business. During a fight, he punched two men with closed fists. Video showed him on the ground without a shirt on while men held him down. Paramedics treated his injuries before he was taken to jail. He is being charged with a misdemeanor and will go to court on March 19.

LaBeouf went back to the Mardi Gras crowds a few hours after being released from jail. He bought a new shirt and sunglasses, drank beer, and took pictures with fans. On February 18, he went for a run without a shirt near his home in Uptown at 1:30 p.m. After that, he ate alone at The Jimani pub, where he talked about marriage and the Olympics over a burger, fries, and water. He kept things light by congratulating a couple who were getting married before leaving quietly.

Witnesses called LaBeouf’s behavior “terrorizing” after reports of him going on a long bar crawl during Mardi Gras. He posted “Free me” on X after he got out of jail, but he had been having trouble staying sober in the past and had just separated from his wife Mia Goth last year. His representatives have not yet made a statement.
