Cardi B Warns Canadians: Don’t Break My Sold-Out Streak!

Cardi B posted a funny but serious video on social media asking her Canadian fans, who she calls “Banadians,” to buy the last few tickets for her March 31 show at Hamilton’s TD Coliseum, which is almost sold out. She said that every other stop on her Little Miss Drama Tour is almost or completely sold out, at 98–100%, and she warned, “If y’all break my sold-out streak, I don’t know what I’m gonna do.” You can buy tickets directly from Ticketmaster for prices starting at $118.

The Grammy-winning rapper’s North American tour, which is in support of her second studio album Am I the Drama?, has more than 30 dates and is in high demand. She even sold out two nights at LA’s Kia Forum, which was a first for a female rapper. Recent shows in Indianapolis, Detroit, and Minneapolis also sold out. She’ll be at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena on March 30, right before Hamilton, where tickets are more expensive (over $2,300) but there are fewer seats left.

This is the second time Cardi B has asked Canadian fans to come together. Before her February 21 show at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, she tweeted a similar message to fans there, which sold out. Fans are talking online about whether Hamilton’s slower sales are due to high prices, small venues, or changes in the market. Her direct interaction with fans keeps the tour going even though people have high hopes for it.
