Aditya Chopra had managed to keep Emraan Hashmi’s role in “Tiger 3” a well-guarded secret, and now, after witnessing the trailer’s enormous success, it’s clear why. Emraan is the unexpected standout in YRF Spy Universe’s latest installment, “Tiger 3,” portraying a cold-blooded adversary to Salman Khan’s super agent, Tiger, also known as Avinash Singh Rathore. This unrelenting mercenary is a cunning character, described by Emraan as “cerebral,” with his mind being his most potent weapon. He also possesses extensive influence over authorities in various countries.

Emraan has also disclosed the name of his character in “Tiger 3.” He explained, “I had a fantastic time developing Aatish – a man fueled by rage and willing to go to any lengths to eliminate Tiger. I portray a remarkably distinct type of villain, a rarity in Hindi cinema. He is cerebral, relying on his intellect as his primary weapon and wielding significant authority to set his devious plans in motion across borders.”

Emraan goes on to reveal, “His sole mission is to annihilate Tiger, his family, and, in doing so, eliminate India’s premier super agent. He understands that Tiger will always be the last line of defense for India and is determined to remove him at any cost.”

Emraan’s portrayal as the antagonist has received widespread acclaim since the release of the “Tiger 3” trailer. Emraan expressed his enthusiasm for taking on the role of an anti-hero in the YRF Spy Universe.

He stated, “The anti-heroes in the YRF Spy Universe have been their trump cards. They deliver a powerful and unexpected impact. Aditya Chopra was clear about his intention to astound people with my character. A well-thought-out strategy was devised to keep my role shrouded in secrecy.”

Emraan continued, “I was eager to share the news about ‘Tiger 3’ but refrained from doing so, fully aware of the immense anticipation that would surround the revelation of my character. The decision was made to spotlight the anti-hero with the ‘Tiger 3’ trailer, and I’m delighted that audiences are embracing my menacing portrayal.”

Emraan has always believed that villains play a significant role in cinema, leaving a lasting impression on the audience’s memory.

He said, “Anti-heroes are always enjoyable to portray because they have no regard for rules. They create their own rules. So, I eagerly accepted the opportunity, knowing that I would have the creative freedom to shape a villain that people will hopefully remember for a long time.”
