Inside Ahan Shetty’s Hard Work to Get Ready for Border 2

As people get more and more excited about Border 2, Ahan Shetty has talked about how much his body and mind changed for the movie. The actor, who plays a Navy officer, said the trip was tiring, all-consuming, and life-changing in a big way.

Training that makes real officers

Ahan did a lot of his training at the National Defence Academy (NDA) in Khadakwasla, Pune. He said that shooting at real military sites made his performance more real.

“Training where real officers train changes everything,” Ahan said. “Your discipline, posture, and attitude have to be real. In that setting, you can’t fake it.

The setting pushed him to go beyond just acting the part, making realism a must-have part of his performance.

A strict workout plan in all places

Ahan stuck to a strict schedule during the whole shoot, whether it was in Pune, Amritsar, Khopoli, or Mumbai. His training was mostly about building strength, stamina, and agility.

To build endurance and cardio fitness, strength training was done along with sports like football and cricket. But recovery was just as important. Ice baths, steam sessions, sauna therapy, and red light therapy became things I had to do every day.

He said, “Recovery wasn’t an option.” “Your body has to keep up when you’re shooting combat scenes one after the other.”

Fighting the heat, the terrain, and long days of shooting

There were problems that came with filming at real military bases. Extreme heat, rough terrain, and long shooting hours pushed the limits of the body.

Ahan said, “You’re doing tactical sequences in 40-degree heat, wearing heavy gear, and shooting for 12 hours straight.” “That’s where training really pays off.”

The physical stress was like what soldiers face in real life, which made his performance more interesting.

First Look Shows Grit and Scale

The first-look poster for Border 2 shows Ahan Shetty in a war zone with a lot of action. There are blood stains on his face. He looks angry. He holds a heavy weapon in his hand. The picture shows how big, gritty, and emotional the movie is.

A patriotic story that will come out in 2026

Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films are behind Border 2. Anurag Singh directed the movie, which was made by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta.

Border 2 promises to be a powerful movie tribute to bravery, sacrifice, and patriotism, continuing the tradition of honouring Indian soldiers. The movie will come out in theatres on January 23, 2026.
