During a recent media interview, Akshay Kumar shared insights about his most recent film, “Mission Ranigunj,” in a conversation with Awesome TV. He discussed the film’s most challenging aspect and emphasized his intention to depict the difficulties faced in filmmaking. According to the actor, the goal is to show people the true nature of these challenges.

When questioned about celebrating the life of unsung heroes, particularly Sardar Jaswant Singh, Akshay Kumar responded, “I don’t view it in that manner. I believe in the philosophy of ‘Better Late Than Never.’ Instead of dwelling on the past, we should focus on the future, as many more such stories are yet to be told. Within the film industry, numerous actors have taken on and continue to tackle such roles.”

He expressed admiration for Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill’s remarkable achievement in creating a capsule to rescue miners in the vast coal mine. Digging a hole at the precise location required great ingenuity and was truly phenomenal. Akshay Kumar praised Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill’s determination and resourcefulness in this regard.

Regarding the film’s reference points and attention to detail, Akshay Kumar mentioned, “The primary reference point for the film was Sardar Jaswant Singh himself, who was alive during the scriptwriting process led by Tinu. His presence and insights played a crucial role in shaping the film.”
