Director Mudassar Aziz recently launched the highly anticipated trailer for his upcoming film, ‘Khel Khel Mein’, featuring an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal.

At the trailer release event, Aziz shared a heartfelt story about his admiration for Akshay Kumar. He recounted, “When I was 19 and in my second year of engineering, I watched ‘Hera Pheri’ and told my friends that Akshay Sir had changed comedy. The irony is, when ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ was released, Akshay Sir called me and said, ‘I expected something from your movie, but you have changed the definition of comedy.’ As a fan of his films, this compliment was irreplaceable.”

Aziz also spoke about the invaluable lessons he learned from Kumar on set. “I have learned from him that your comic timing should never falter no matter the conditions. Akshay taught me that holding a grudge hinders comedy; you need to smile to make others laugh,” said Aziz. This work ethic profoundly impacted Aziz, highlighting the importance of perseverance and professionalism.
