Ananya Panday Unveils Kindness Curriculum for Indian Schools.

The Kindness Curriculum initiative aims to impact more than 2.5 Lakh children through the Her So Positive and Slam Out Loud partnership.

A New Chapter in Emotional Education

Mumbai, July 25, 2025 — Actor and young icon Ananya Panday unveiled a countrywide Kindness Curriculum under her mental well-being initiative So Positive. The initiative, much anticipated, aims to embed kindness in education across India and is created in collaboration with the arts-driven education NGO Slam Out Loud.

Art Meets Empathy

The curriculum employs storytelling, poetry, and visual arts to impart values such as empathy, compassion, and kindness to children. Emotional intelligence is to be developed at an early age with engaging, innovative tools, ensuring kindness curriculum elements reach the youngest learners.

Ananya’s Personal Touch

Ananya accompanies children through the modules, introducing her own life experiences to relate to them, which enhances the impact of kindness being infused into the educational journey.

“Kindness is not just an idea—it’s a way of life. If we teach it early, it becomes part of who they are,” she said.

Reaching Lakhs of Young Minds

The program will impact more than 2.5 lakh students through:

  • Jijivisha Fellowship
  • Arts for All Program
It’s also accessible online through So Positive’s YouTube channel and will soon be live on the DIKSHA Portal—the digital learning platform of the Government of India, including the kindness curriculum as a core element.

Creating a Kinder Generation

The release takes place at a time when social-emotional learning (SEL) is more critical than ever. With children being exposed to the emotional and digital battles daily, this program presents a purposeful direction towards a more compassionate and attuned future, aiming to foster a culture of kindness through curriculum-driven growth.
