Actor Anshul Pandey has recently captivated audiences with his portrayal of an elder brother in the Watcho Exclusives series “Flash.” His chemistry with co-star Sagar Kapoor has garnered praise, but what inspired Anshul’s performance? The answer lies in his former co-star, Karan Mehra, from the popular show “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.”
Anshul candidly shared, “Karan Mehra, my step-brother on the show, served as a role model for me. His patience and calm demeanor, even in challenging situations, left a lasting impression. As someone who tends to react quickly, observing Karan’s composed approach taught me valuable lessons.”
In the role of the elder brother, Anshul consciously aimed to be calmer than his on-screen younger sibling. For instance, during a hit-and-run scene, he channelled Karan’s tranquillity while managing his emotions. “Understanding that I needed to pacify and guide my younger brother, all while keeping my own fears in check, was crucial,” Anshul explained.
Beyond the screen, Anshul appreciates his bond with Sagar Kapoor. “Sagar is a multi-talented artist,” he revealed. “Apart from acting, he excels at playing the guitar and singing. Although I missed attending one of his live performances due to our Delhi roots, I’ve witnessed his talents later. Sagar truly is a man of many gifts.”
