Anupam Kher Reflects on Dialogue Delivery Linked with Emotions
In the upcoming high-stakes series ‘The Freelancer’ on Disney+ Hotstar, the intense tale revolves around a daring man striving to rescue a young girl trapped in the tumultuous landscape of war-torn Syria. Scheduled to debut on September 1, 2023, the show is based on Shirish Thorat’s novel, ‘A Ticket to Syria,’ directed by Bhav Dhulia, and brought to life by Friday Storytellers’ production, with Neeraj Pandey leading as the Creator and Showrunner. The series is headed by the seasoned actor Mohit Raina, alongside the esteemed Anupam Kher and Kashmira Pardeshi. Notable actors like Sushant Singh, John Kokken, Gauri Balaji, Navneet Malik, Manjiri Faddnis, and Sarah Jane Dias also contribute to this project.

Sharing his insights, Anupam Kher reveals, “Mastering numerous lines and technical terms was a crucial part of my preparation. Neeraj’s dialogues are succinct and direct. While it’s both enjoyable and demanding, the challenge intensifies when emotions come into play. I tend to remember dialogues intertwined with emotions. This journey was demanding yet ultimately fulfilling.”
