Anupama Solanki Bids Farewell to Nath Zewar Ya Zanjeer After 10 Months

Anupama Solanki, who played the role of Kalavati in the popular show Nath Zewar Ya Zanjeer, quit the show in January after being part of it for 10 months. The actress, who was deeply attached to the show, revealed the reason behind her decision and shared her plans.

Anupama said that she joined the show, which was earlier titled Nath Krishna aur Gauri ki kahani, in April 2023 and left it in the first week of January 2024. She said that she decided to quit the show because her number of shooting days was reduced and there was nothing left for her to do in the show. She said that it was a mutual understanding between her and the production house, Shoonya Square Production, and they agreed with her decision. She also thanked the channel, Dangal TV, for the opportunity and said that she had a great experience working on the show. She said that she was sad to leave the show but she had no choice as her character, which was very powerful, was not given enough screen time. She said that she was taking back good memories with her.

Anupama also talked about the kind of roles she is looking for now. She said that she is not bound by any particular role, whether it’s positive or negative. She said that as an actor, she knows her face value and calibre. She said that she has played different characters in her previous shows, such as lord Vishnu’s avatar Mohini in Vighnaharta Ganesha, a positive character in Maddam Sir, and a negative character in Dayan. She also mentioned her other shows, such as Yeh hai Mohabbatein and the reality show Juzzbaat. She said that she is happy to get both positive and negative roles as she can diversify her portfolio. She said that she believes that if she works hard on her character, she can break the typecast image. She said that it is very difficult to break the typecast image in the industry but it is not impossible. She said that she is the biggest example of someone who is playing different characters with a strong conviction. She said that the industry has changed now and the casting agencies have a vast vision. She also said that her career is not only restricted to acting in television shows. She said that she has many opportunities to showcase her talents, such as web series, music albums, and collaborations with new brands. She said that compared to the 90’s era, there are a lot more options and opportunities for actors. She also said that after reels and shorts became popular on social media, anyone can become a star overnight but also vanish overnight. She said that the biggest challenge is to maintain that fame and her acting career. She said that getting good and classy work is getting more challenging.
