Black Warrant has secured the Golden Goddess for Best Editing and Best Sound at the Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA) 2025 held in Singapore. Consequently, these honours mark a moment of pride for Indian storytelling making a strong impact worldwide.

Black Warrant began as a modest and ambitious idea; however, it steadily transformed into a powerful project led by passionate artists, dedicated producers, and a highly skilled technical team. Moreover, the risks they took and the creativity they nurtured have now been recognised on an international platform like AACA, underlining the show’s influence.
Tanya Chabbria Wins Best Editing
Golden Goddess winner Tanya Chabbria expressed heartfelt gratitude as she accepted the award.
“Thank you so much for this honour,” she said. She also emphasised her appreciation for Netflix, Applause, Confluence, the directors, showrunners, and her entire team, adding that this victory belonged to everyone who contributed to the series.
Kunal Sharma Wins Best Sound
Likewise, Kunal Sharma, honoured for his exceptional sound design, received the Golden Goddess for Best Sound.
“Thank you to the Asian Academy for this honour,” he said. He further thanked the directors for giving him the freedom to work organically. According to him, the collaborative effort across departments played a key role in achieving excellence.
Additionally, he credited the entire sound team, along with music composer Ajay Jayanthi and mixing engineer Niladri Shekhar Roy, noting, “Without his compositions, I couldn’t have gone as minimal and designal as I eventually did.”
