BLACK WIDOW – Finally the much delayed – Marvel’s – “BLACK WIDOW” released this week. Scarlett Johansson plays one of the “Avengers”, who goes on a mission to get this powerful dictator that wants world dominance, and has a host of a woman army that are under his formula spell. They are highly trained by this foreign arch nemesis, that control these soldiers from above the radar, in the sky, in his so called – “Red Room”.

The film now deals with the origins, or rather the beginning of an episode of “Black Widow”. It is entertaining to see that even heroes have siblings and a family of superheroes that are there in the plot line. Dysfunctional as they may be, but Rachel Weisz and David Harbor as the parents that work for the Soviets are the so called adopted parents of Natasha Romanov – Aka – “Black Widow”.

But the highlight actually is Florence Pugh as the kid sister to “Black Widow”. She is vibrant and funny, sarcastic, and at times overshadows Johansson’s performance, including heraction scenes. Yes summer is here and superheroes are back on the big screen.
