The 71-year-old actor says that their decades-long relationship ended because Parker spoke out publicly about sexual assault allegations against him in 2021, which he denies. He said he was very hurt that she never talked to him privately before making a joint statement with co-stars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis in support of the accusers.
In the interview, Noth said that Parker’s behavior was “brand management” instead of personal support. He said, “You’ve known me for many years… you need to call me and hear my side.” He said that if the roles had been reversed, he would have contacted the other person first and called the lack of communication “very disappointing” and “hurtful.” The fallout “affected everything,” making it clear who were real friends during the fight.
