Corey Parker Dead at 60: Will & Grace Star Loses Cancer Battle

Corey Parker, who played Josh on Will & Grace, died on March 5, 2026, at the age of 60 after a long battle with terminal cancer. Family members, including his aunt Emily Parker, confirmed that the actor died in Memphis, Tennessee.

Parker started his career in the 1980s with parts in Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning and 9 1/2 Weeks. He became more well-known after starring in movies like Biloxi Blues with Matthew Broderick and White Palace with Susan Sarandon, as well as TV shows like Thirtysomething, Flying Blind, and Love Boat: The Next Wave. He played Grace’s boyfriend Josh on Will & Grace for five episodes, which helped him become a sitcom star.

Parker, who has stage 4 metastatic adenocarcinoma that has spread to 90% of his bones, shared updates on a GoFundMe campaign that students started after he told them about his hip surgery. By early 2026, the cancer had made it hard for him to speak, write, and move around. Radiation treatments made his symptoms worse but eased some of his pain. His family and friends said that donations helped him a lot in his last months.
