“Dancing With the Stars” Episode 7 of Season 34 was an exciting and scary Halloween Night episode. It brought nine couples to the ballroom for suspenseful dance-offs, chilling routines, and a dramatic Dance Monster-thon segment.
In this special episode, famous people and professionals dressed up in scary costumes. They danced Tango, Argentine Tango, Paso Doble, Contemporary, Jazz, and Viennese Waltz. Moreover, they wowed both the audience and the judges, who were Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, Bruno Tonioli, and guest judge Cheryl Burke.
The Dance Monster-thon, which was brought back to life, had all couples dancing the Hustle and the Lindy Hop at the same time. One by one, the judges kicked couples out. Consequently, Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas beat all their competitors. They earned five extra points, which put them almost at the top of the leaderboard. Meanwhile, Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy led the pack with a perfect score of 39 out of 40 for their Tango. They finished the marathon with 43 points.
However, the night ended with heartbreak for Jen Affleck and Jan Ravnik. They were sent home after receiving lower combined scores from the judges and viewers. This happened following their contemporary number to Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do.” Despite injuries and dramatic moments—like Elaine Hendrix being sent to the hospital but still being able to compete—the Halloween celebration was full of great entertainment and tough competition.
