DARK PHOENIX – The Phoenix Rises in this episode of the X-MEN series with “DARK PHOENIX”. I had heard the film has got some mixed reviews, and some things to the comic plot has been slightly altered, which some fans have been upset about that. But I personally feel the film from Marvel to be excellent. This is the first time you see a Superhero that has so much power that she cannot control, and how certain dear ones in her life been lost and killed by her. The subject of how to control your power and temperament is the struggle that -“The Phoenix” – has to deal with and over come.
Sophie Turner as “The Phoenix – Jean Grey plays the role with simplicity and of a normality that all can identify with. James MacAvoy and Mathew Fassbinder, as Professor Xavier, as Magneto lend their support to the traumatized hero. The film is entertaining and keeps you hooked to see what happens next throughout.
