Mumbai, India – 30 June 2025:
Amazon MX Player’s latest series Gamerlog is making waves for its fresh take on youth, identity, and esports. The show, streaming free on Amazon platforms, stars Darsheel Safary as 17-year-old Raghu—a runaway from Surat chasing his place in Mumbai’s gaming world.
A Story of Underdogs in the Esports Arena
Based in a high-octane bootcamp, Gamerlog chronicles Raghu and his misfit crew. Together, they challenge the formidable Wolfclan in their quest for glory, friendship, and meaning.
Arya Deo directs and Abhinay Deo produces the show that weaves together humor, emotion, and high-level competition.
Darsheel Safary on Raghu and His Own Journey
Darsheel refers to Gamerlog as a “passion project.” He told us, “When Raghu’s desire to establish himself was reminiscent of my journey—when I walked away from acting to grow and discover myself.”
He owes theatre a transformation. “Playing live with ensembles such as NCPA reinforced in me the power of storytelling. When I came back after the pandemic, I was not the same person,” he explained.
A Show for Gamers and Dreamers
Anjali Sivaraman, Chinmay Chandraunshuh, Kunal Bhan, Chetan Dhawan, Shubroy Chowdhury, and Akash Menon are also part of the cast.
Gamerlog is currently streaming for free on Amazon MX Player through its app, Amazon shopping app, Prime Video, Fire TV, and smart connected TVs.
