Deadloch Season 2 Trailer: Crocs & Chaos on Prime Video March 20

The second season of Amazon Prime Video’s hit Australian murder mystery comedy Deadloch will be available to watch all over the world on March 20, just a few weeks away. The first official trailer from Prime Video teases a crazy new case full of dark humor. Detectives Dulcie Bay (Kate Box) and Celeste Draman (Madeleine Sami) go north to Darwin for a “sticky” investigation in the middle of crocs and tropical chaos.

This season, the action moves from the made-up Tasmanian town of Deadloch to Australia’s Top End. There will be more strange murders and funny fights between the two cops who are not very alike. Box and Sami will be back, along with new cast members like Australian actors Steve Bisley, Shari Sebbens, Nikki Britton, and Genevieve Morris. They will all be in the same place for new adventures. The trailer’s mood builds on the success of Season 1, which won five AACTA Awards and an International Emmy nomination after its 2023 debut, thanks to buzz from fans.

The six-episode follow-up was made by Guesswork Television, OK Great Productions, and Amazon MGM Studios, and it was written by Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan. Filming started earlier, and since the 2024 renewal, announcements have been making people excited about the duo’s return to solve Darwin’s mysteries. Critics loved Season 1 for how funny it was about crime tropes, and this trailer hints at even more laughs with a local twist.
