Tanaav 2

A famous filmmaker named E Niwas recently talked about how hard it was to film Season 2 of the highly praised web series Tanaav in Kashmir, which is both beautiful and hard to get to. The show, which is now available to watch on Sony Liv, is co-directed by Sudhir Mishra and E Niwas.

Making movies in Kashmir is a unique challenge
Niwas talked about his thoughts on the experience and talked about the difficulties of shooting in Kashmir. “Firing a gun in Kashmir was both hard and fun.” The landscape is hard to get around in, but it’s beautiful to look at. When filming in real places, there are problems. “Kashmir was especially difficult because of the script’s requirements,” Niwas said. He talked about how important it was to show both the beautiful scenery and the darker, more complicated side of Kashmir. “We had to give it our all, and after seeing the finished product and how people responded to it, it was well worth it.”

Kashmir as a Main Character
Kashmir is famous for its beautiful scenery, but Niwas says it has a much greater meaning in Tanaav. The area isn’t just a background; it’s an important part of the story. “The process was easy; I just tried to catch the feelings in the script.” When it came to movies, we had to respect that. This season goes into more detail about the character arcs and how they relate to each other, but the main idea had to stay strong. Niwas said, “I’m glad it all worked out, and most of all, I hope you had fun shooting.”

As Season 2 of Tanaav keeps streaming on Sony Liv, viewers are treated to a strong story set in Kashmir’s beautiful but unstable scenery, which mixes tension and emotion.
