Acclaimed actress Seerat Kapoor has recently joined the cast of Prateek Sharma’s popular television show, “Rabb Se Hai Dua”. Kapoor is set to portray the character of Mannat in the series’ post-leap sequence, which fast-forwards the storyline by 22 years.

The show, which centres around the dynamics of a Muslim family, required Kapoor to adapt to the nuances of the Urdu language. “The process wasn’t easy,” Kapoor admits. “I wanted my portrayal to be natural and authentic, so I invested a lot of time in homework, workshops, and practice. The challenge was intriguing and made the journey all the more rewarding.”

Kapoor’s character, Mannat, is described as a strong, confident, and ambitious young woman with a childlike innocence. “Mannat is multi-layered and fights for her rights as well as those of others, setting her apart from everyone else,” Kapoor explains.

The actress also shared her connection with Mannat, revealing that she sees a lot of herself in the character. However, she is mindful not to let the character’s traits seep into her personal life. “As an actor, it’s important to maintain a balance, and I’m learning to be self-aware at all times,” she says.

“Rabb Se Hai Dua” has already garnered significant popularity and love from its audience. When asked about the pressure of living up to the expectations, Kapoor expressed optimism. “The show has received immense praise and appreciation. We hope to continue this trend and elevate the show to new heights,” she stated.

Kapoor also expressed her admiration for Prateek Sharma, the show’s producer. “Prateek Sharma was one of the main reasons I wanted to join the show. I’ve heard great things about him and his team, and I’ve seen the amazing shows he’s produced before. It feels like we’ve been welcomed into a new family, and that motivates us to work even harder,” Kapoor concluded.
