Get Ready for a Chaotic Comedy Adventure on 9th August 2024
Disney+ Hotstar has just released the trailer for their upcoming Hotstar Specials series, ‘Life hill Gayi’, promising a blend of humor and chaos set in the heartland of India. The series, produced by Aarushi Nishank and Himshrri Films, directed by Prem Mistry, and written by Jasmeet Singh Bhatia, features a star-studded cast including Divyenndu, Kusha Kapila, Vinay Pathak, Mukti Mohan, Kabir Bedi, Bhagyashree, and Aditi Govitrikar.
Plot Overview
The storyline follows siblings Dev and Kalki, who find themselves stripped of their wealth and thrust into a race for family inheritance. This journey takes them from the bustling city life to a quaint town in Uttarakhand, setting the stage for a hilarious and heartwarming adventure.

Known for her witty and relatable skits, Kusha Kapila makes her OTT debut with ‘Life hill Gayi’. Reflecting on her transition from digital content to OTT platforms, Kusha shared her insights on playing the character of Kalki.

“I have been creating content since 2017 and went solo as a content creator in 2019. I have portrayed a South Delhi girl blinded by privilege and luxury, so I understand why I was chosen for this role. What I really appreciate about the show is how the character was humanized. Unlike short sketches, on-screen portrayals demand depth and realism. The directors and writers ensured these characters had emotional and comedic depth, leading to a legitimate redemption arc,” said Kusha.
